The Quality Controller carries out detailed quality checks, repair, and finishing work on furniture items to ensure all products are delivered in line with specifications and brand standards. The role supports customer satisfaction by identifying defects, performing corrective actions, and coordinating quality feedback with internal teams.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect furniture items to identify damage, defects, or quality deviations versus inherent product characteristics
- Perform high-level wood repairs, refinishing, spraying, upholstery, and leather repairs to meet quality standards
- Ensure all furniture leaving the warehouse is thoroughly inspected and repaired where required
- Check and repair returned items with quality issues from customers and stores
- Complete assigned tasks within defined timeframes and allocated coverage areas
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
- Communicate recurring product defects or quality concerns to the buying team for escalation with brands
- Achieve assigned productivity and quality targets consistently
- High school certificate
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in quality control or furniture repair
- Mandatory experience with home furniture or home retail brands
- Strong technical skills in furniture inspection and repair
- Good command of English
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
