Job Description:Job Summary:The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities on the PV solar project. This role involves implementing quality control plans, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans and procedures.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.

Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship at various stages of the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Identify, document, and track non-conformances, and work with project teams to develop corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and certificates of compliance.

Monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, including conducting audits and assessments.

Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.

Conduct internal and external audits of the project’s quality management system to ensure adherence to ISO standards and project requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical) or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably with PV solar projects.

Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or relevant QA/QC certifications preferable

Proven experience with ground-mounted solar PV projects, preferably in the Middle East region.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
