About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Server & Storage Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade server and storage solutions, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and robust security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support critical business applications and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain VMware virtualization environments using vSphereDeploy and manage Dell EMC VxRail hyperconverged infrastructureConfigure and administer SAN and NAS storage arrays, including provisioning, zoning, and performance tuningInstall, configure, and support physical and virtual servers running Windows and Linux operating systemsMonitor system health, perform capacity planning, and optimize resource utilizationTroubleshoot hardware, storage, and virtualization issues to ensure minimal downtimeImplement backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutionsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating proceduresCollaborate with network, security, and application teams to integrate server and storage solutionsParticipate in change management, patching, and upgrade activitiesProvide on-call support and escalate incidents as needed
