Coordinate and monitor logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Plan and schedule shipments, deliveries, and pickups to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange logistics services and resolve any issues or concerns.
Track and update shipment statuses using logistics management software or tracking systems.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies for handling and transporting goods.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and replenishment.
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
Assist with procurement and sourcing activities to secure transportation services and negotiate contracts with vendors.
Provide support and assistance to other team members and departments as needed.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation is a plus.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.Benefits:
