This role plays a critical part in supporting the aftersales network by providing expert technical guidance, ensuring first-time fix success, and improving service quality standards. It bridges communication between workshops, internal teams, and manufacturers to ensure efficient problem resolution and continuous product improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to workshops for diagnosing complex vehicle issues
- Analyze faults across engine, transmission, braking, electrical, and electronic systems
- Support troubleshooting through remote and on-site assistance within defined service levels
- Liaise with manufacturers for escalations, technical queries, and product support
- Review and validate warranty claims ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy
- Conduct technical training sessions for service teams and evaluate training effectiveness
- Monitor recurring issues and provide feedback for product and process improvements
- Ensure availability of special tools, service manuals, and technical resources
- Assist in analysis and shipment of failed components to OEMs
- Coordinate software updates and technical equipment usage across service locations
- Participate in regular reviews with technical management to improve service delivery
- Support customer-focused decisions to enhance overall service experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in vehicle diagnostics or technical support roles
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems including engine, electronics, and transmission
- Experience with diagnostic tools, CAN bus systems, and vehicle software platforms
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and fault codes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
