This role supports the aftersales network by delivering expert technical guidance, improving repair accuracy, and ensuring consistent service standards. It plays a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction, supporting warranty processes, and driving operational efficiency across service teams.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to workshops for diagnosing complex vehicle issues and ensuring high first-time fix rates
- Analyse faults across engine, transmission, braking, electrical, and electronic systems
- Support field teams with troubleshooting through remote and on-site assistance
- Liaise with manufacturers for escalations, technical queries, and product support
- Review and validate warranty claims ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy
- Conduct technical training sessions for service teams and evaluate training effectiveness
- Monitor recurring issues and provide feedback for product and service improvements
- Ensure availability of technical tools, manuals, and service bulletins across locations
- Support analysis and shipment of failed parts to OEMs for investigation
- Coordinate software updates and ensure proper use of diagnostic equipment
- Participate in regular technical reviews and escalate issues to management
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in vehicle diagnostics or technical support roles
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of diagnostics tools, CAN bus systems, and vehicle electronics
- Experience with OEM service platforms and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and ability to train and support technical teams
- Vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
