  • Provide specialized neonatal intensive care for critically ill and premature newborns from admission through discharge
  • Conduct, interpret, and analyze diagnostic investigations and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Closely monitor neonatal patients, promptly identifying and responding to changes in clinical condition
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Educate and support parents regarding neonatal conditions, feeding practices, and infant development
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records in line with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Stay current with advances in neonatal intensive care and apply evidence-based practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to patient safety and infection control protocols
  • Train, supervise, and mentor junior medical staff, supporting their professional development
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Intensive Care, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at Consultant NICU level in a reputable healthcare facility
  • Western-trained education or clinical background is required
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, high-pressure clinical environment
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient-centered neonatal care
