Senior Engineer - Offshore Structures

• Performing and managing Conceptual, Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Design & Engineering of Offshore Structures.
• Performing and managing In-place strength, pushover, fatigue, seismic, boat impact and installation related analyses of fixed offshore steel structures using SACS software.
• Administering calculations to design platform modifications & assess structural integrity of existing platforms.
• Carryout and overseeing detail design of pile foundations, boat landings and fenders, offshore bridges, helidecks, structural joints, installation aids, equipment supports and riser clamps.
• Collaborating installation related analyse such as, load-out, lifting, transportation, stability analyses, pile drivability and design of installation aids for offshore structures.
• Assessing static and dynamic response of structures to accidental loads such as fire, explosion and dropped objects.
• Undertaking structural design calculations to supplement and refine automatic computer generated code check results.
• Relaying professional study results to clients, either through verbal presentation or written reports.
• Reviewing and approving engineering submissions from EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Vendors.
• Assisting with Feasibility Studies and Constructability reviews for structural related projects.
• Review and approval of Engineering submissions from EPC Contractors, sub-contractors, Vendors.
• Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings, HSE workshops etc. with Clients/ Contractors, as required.
• Supporting Construction by attending to site queries and related issues and then incorporating any design changes required.
• Supervise and guide Engineers and Designers in structural analysis & design work and in preparation of drawings.
• Effective communication of study results to clients, either through verbal presentation or written reports.
• A committed team player able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.

• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Structural or equivalent from a reputed University. Post-graduate qualification in Civil or Structural or Geotechnical Engineering desirable.
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in structural design and analyses for fixed offshore structures and min. 10 years experience in supervising/managing structural engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience in in-place strength, push-over, fatigue, seismic, boat impact/accidental and installation related analyses using SACS software.
• Experience in SESAM/Genie, USFOS & ABAQUS software desirable.
• Proven familiarity with current API, AISC, DNV and ISO codes & standards applicable to design/analysis of offshore structures.
