- Operate and monitor assigned plant units safely in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Control panel operations to maintain required temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and product specifications
- Supervise routine equipment checks and report abnormalities for maintenance action
- Prepare plant systems for maintenance and ensure proper synchronization during start-ups and shutdowns
- Log operational incidents and coordinate with Supervisors for corrective measures
- Utilize Integrated Control System capabilities to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality
- Authorize work permits and monitor contractor activities to ensure HSE compliance
- Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies as per Facility Response Plan
- Control plant upsets and prevent escalation of minor emergencies through coordinated communication
- Maintain accurate operational records, integrity test documentation, and shift handover notes
- Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with vocational trade certificate
- Minimum 6 years of experience in plant operations within a large industrial oil and gas facility
- Strong knowledge of control panel operations and process control systems
- Familiarity with plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
- Good understanding of HSE standards and emission control requirements
- Process plant operations
