- Review contractor material submittals and secure approvals in line with applicable standards and project specifications
- Act as focal point for scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at site
- Inspect works to verify compliance with contract specifications and approved methods
- Coordinate with subconsultants and laboratories for material testing activities
- Maintain project files related to material inspections and prepare daily diaries
- Prepare daily reports and required documentation in accordance with contract requirements
- Ensure that only approved materials are incorporated into the works
- Identify material-related issues, conflicts, or non-conformances and report with proposed corrective solutions
- Collect, review, and maintain certificates of compliance, MSDS, inspection tags, and related documentation
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff when required
- Participate in job safety practices and preparation of safety-related reports
- Contribute to development and implementation of quality control reports and procedures
- Perform calculations to prepare engineering data, charts, and graphs as required
- Verify that delivered materials match approvals and are correctly stored on site
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or construction-related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA or QC roles on infrastructure, roads, landscaping, or related projects
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure and road projects within the UAE is preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications
- Registration as a practicing engineer in Abu Dhabi or possession of Ministry of Education equivalency certificate
