- Perform a full spectrum of neuro‑interventional procedures, including:
- Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke
- Aneurysm coiling and flow‑diversion
- AVM/AVF embolization
- Tumor embolization
- Carotid and intracranial stenting
- Spinal vascular interventions
- Interpret advanced neuroimaging studies including CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions.
- Participate in 24/7 stroke and neuro‑interventional on‑call coverage.
- Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the neuro‑interventional service.
- Develop and update clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in multidisciplinary stroke and neurovascular boards.
- Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists.
- Communicate diagnoses, procedural risks, and treatment plans clearly and compassionately.
- Support patients and families through decision‑making and post‑procedure care.
- Promote a patient‑centered, culturally sensitive environment.
- Participate in clinical research, case studies, and institutional review activities.
- Teach medical students, radiology residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to CME programs and represent the department at national and international conferences.
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification in Radiology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent).
- Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology / Endovascular Neurosurgery from a recognized center.
- Minimum 8–10 years of post‑specialization experience, including consultant‑level practice.
- Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure.
- Proven expertise in advanced neuro‑interventional procedures and stroke intervention.
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
