- Coordinate air freight shipments from origin to destination, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
- Communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with airlines to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, including air waybills, customs clearance documents, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor and update shipment status, providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and address any discrepancies related to air freight shipments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the air freight department.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in air freight operations, preferably within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of air freight procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
