Job Category: QualityJob Description:Job Overview:The Senior Quality Ops Tech completes a variety of Operations assignments as needed and can complete work with a limited degree of supervision. They are an informal resource for colleagues with less Operations experience. The Senior Quality Ops Tech has developed proficiency in various analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks. They provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures. They directly impact the quality of the work of the team.This position is responsible to coordinate Source Inspection Activities on the project.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Report daily activities to supervisors throughout the project to help ensure any deficiencies are addressed accordingly
  • Liaise with Assurance Specialist - Projects, Procurement Coordinator, TPI agencies, Expeditor, Supplier Inspector, Client, Certifying Authority, Package Manager, Engineering, Supply Chain Inspection Manager, PQM
  • Responsible for Issuance of notification of inspection to the Client and the assigned inspector
  • Ensure that all documents are approved before scheduling any Final Inspection or FA T and NCR//TQ/ etc., are closed as well
  • Assist supervision in determining product conformity to customer specifications through independent inspections, daily surveillances, and tests by the Project Quality Plan
  • Identify non-conformity for rectification and ensure final resolution
  • Assist supervision in appraising product quality to determine conformity and non-conformity in accordance with the approved drawings and inspection & test plan
  • Ensure all inspection results are to be documented, and if non-conformity exists, raise documentation to establish corrective action
  • Assist supervision in coordinating the interface with operations, Certifying Authority, Client, Job Sharing, personnel, and subcontractor, assuring the conformity to project specifications
  • Assist supervision in performing field inspections by project specifications and scope of work as noted within the Project Quality Plan/ITPs
  • Assist supervision in confirming adherence to applicable procedures and plans by effective audit and surveillance
Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • High school diploma or degree in relevant field of study
  • 5+ years in quality-related discipline
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
