- Provide expert advice, recommendations, and solutions to address client needs and meet clients' budgets.
- Provide value added designs to clients.
- Create and build strong relationships with Vendors and sub-contractors to avail competitive pricing.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their security challenges, objectives, and technical requirements.
- Liaise with sales teams to develop customized security system integration proposals and solutions that align with client requirements.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing security system installation and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and vendors, to align pre-sales activities with business objectives.
- Address technical inquiries, concerns, and objections raised by clients during the proposal generation phase.
- Coordinate with internal teams to review, validate, and design solutions for clients.
- Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned from pre-sales engagements to contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments related to security system integration through regular training on security systems, attending exhibitions, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role, preferably in the security industry.
- In-depth understanding of security technologies, access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security-related solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, solution design, and proposal development.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support pre-sales activities and client engagements.
