A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Public Realm Director (Head of Infrastructure) to take on a strategic leadership role overseeing the infrastructure, operations, and maintenance of public spaces within one of Abu Dhabi's flagship districts.This is a senior role requiring someone with strong technical expertise in civil, MEP, and infrastructure management, combined with a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement and government coordination.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all assets within the public realm from roads and utilities to community spaces are safe, sustainable, and efficiently managed. You'll lead a diverse team and collaborate closely with external consultants, contractors, and government authorities to deliver high standards of maintenance, innovation, and community experience.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the comprehensive operations and maintenance of all public realm and infrastructure assets.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.
Champion a customer-centric approach to public realm management and community satisfaction.
Drive digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across infrastructure operations.
Liaise effectively with Abu Dhabi government bodies such as DMT, ADM, Civil Defense, and other key stakeholders.
Develop and execute strategies for emergency response, waste management, and environmental compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8+ years of senior experience in infrastructure, O&M, or public realm management.
Strong technical grounding in engineering and infrastructure systems.
Proven experience working with government entities and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Urban Planning (Master's preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
