Our Group employs approximately 2000 people from 41 different nationalities, which contributes to our multicultural and multi-national environment.Emirates Electrical Engineering is a specialized business platform that provides comprehensive turnkey solutions combining development, financing, construction and operation of solar rooftops for commercial and industrial building in the UAE, also a responsive and flexible organization dedicated for the design and construction of turnkey electrical power projects such as High Voltage Substations, Cable Networks and Transmission Lines.Job PurposeIt involves planning, coordination with interface/support department, setting up the departmental objective, value engineering, Cost control measures and Customer management.Lead, guide and groom the team to achieve the departmental objective and customer satisfaction.Develop process to achieve the cycle time reduction and project tracking tasks. Maintain and manage documentation as per the ISO guideline.Job ResponsibilitiesInterpret customer and utility specifications in line with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL and client standards to develop control and protection panel designs.Prepare engineering deliverables including SLDs, control and protection schematics, GA drawings, panel layouts, BOMs, and cable schedules.Select and size protection relays, breakers, CTs/VTs, meters, PLCs, HMIs, communication devices, power supplies, and related components.Design panel layouts, internal wiring, and busbar systems considering thermal limits, short-circuit ratings, electrical clearances, and safety requirements.Generate accurate manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or ELCAD.Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory standards.Support tendering activities with technical input and optimized BOQ solutions.Coordinate with project, production, quality, and planning teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.Provide technical support during manufacturing and liaise with vendors for component approvals.Participate in customer meetings and design reviews to clarify requirements and implement improvements.Plan and monitor design schedules, ensuring timely submissions and approvals.Contribute to process improvement, value engineering, and team development initiatives.Job RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or related field.Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in design of control and protection panels, MCCs, or switchgear within industrial/manufacturing environments.Knowledge & Skills:Strong knowledge of power systems, electrical design principles, and protection schemes (overcurrent, differential, distance).Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN (mandatory).Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP3).Working knowledge of IEC 61439, IEC 60204, UL 508A, NEC/NFPA 70.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Effective communication and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative team-oriented mindset.At Al Rostamani Group, we seek talented people who work hard to achieve great things.
