A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree in relevant subject area, plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialism in Mathematics.
Ability to teach up to and including A level Maths – and preferably Further Pure Maths.
Experience teaching the British curriculum.
Proven leadership experience within a Mathematics department or clear potential to step into a Head of Department role.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead on curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development.
A consistent track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with evidence of excellent student progress and achievement.
