This is an opportunity to step into a key role within our Accounts Receivable team, contributing directly to financial performance and operational excellence.If you are detail-oriented, experienced, and confident leading processes and people, this role offers both responsibility and impact within a fast-moving, global organisation.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function while supporting month-end financial processes.You will play a central role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong processes, and supporting the wider finance team. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, technical accounting expertise, and operational oversight.Key Responsibilities📊 Accounts Receivable OversightOversee daily AR operations and ensure smooth transaction processingSupport and guide the AR team, resolving blockers and maintaining workflow efficiencyEnsure accurate data entry and consistent financial records📅 Month-End & ReportingLead and support month-end close processes within agreed timelinesPerform reconciliations and post necessary adjustmentsPrepare financial summaries and month-end reportingAssist with VAT return preparation and submission🔧 Systems & Process ManagementMaintain and manage the Xero accounting systemSupport improvements in financial processes and system usageEnsure compliance with reporting standards and deadlines🤝 Collaboration & SupportWork closely with internal teams on reporting and financial queriesCommunicate effectively across departments to ensure alignmentSkills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Xero (essential)
- Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience
- Proven experience managing or supervising a team
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable processes
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong communication and leadership capability
- CPA qualification (preferred but not required)
- Experience in fast-paced or scaling environments
- Exposure to system changes or process improvement initiatives
