Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Engineer - Planning to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will lead the planning and design of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring sustainable and efficient development in one of the world's most dynamic urban environments.
  • Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for major urban development projects
  • Conduct detailed site analyses and feasibility studies for proposed infrastructure initiatives
  • Create and review technical drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software
  • Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data and inform planning decisions
  • Perform complex data analysis and modeling to optimize infrastructure designs
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers in the planning and design process
  • Present infrastructure plans and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure planning or a related field
  • Experience in STP within Dubai Municipality projects
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Strong skills in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design principles
  • Familiarity with urban development trends and best practices
  • Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
