- Diagnose and manage complex neonatal conditions including prematurity, congenital anomalies, and critical illness
- Lead NICU patient management to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and recovery
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures including ventilation management, resuscitation, and invasive monitoring
- Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and allied specialists for coordinated care
- Provide consultative input for neonatal cases and high-risk pregnancies
- Implement best practices aligned with the latest advancements in neonatology
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
- Mentor and support junior physicians and NICU nursing staff
- Provide on-call coverage for neonatal emergencies as required
- Medical Doctor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in neonatology, preferably within a tertiary care NICU
- DHA, MOH, or HAAD Consultant license preferred
- Proven expertise in neonatal ventilation, nutrition, and infection control
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure critical care environments
