Guildhall is proud to present this exciting opportunity with one of our top clients, a fast-growing luxury real estate developer based in Dubai. We are currently seeking an experienced GM Operations to join a high-performing leadership team and take ownership of operational control across the business.This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how a real estate developer truly functions as a whole. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge across all key departments and will be responsible for integrating teams, improving accountability, and ensuring the business operates in a structured, efficient, and scalable way. The role is heavily focused on unifying sales operations, marketing, finance, construction, customer experience, technology, and people functions under one clear operational framework.The Role
The GM Operations will act as the central operational leader across the company, translating business strategy into day-to-day execution. This person will establish clear operational rhythms, improve communication across departments, remove bottlenecks, and drive overall performance. The objective is to create a more joined-up business, allowing the senior leadership team to step away from daily operational issues and focus on growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional operations across all major business units
  • Integrate departments including sales, marketing, finance, construction, customer care, technology, and HR
  • Build and implement operational frameworks, processes, and reporting structures
  • Translate company strategy into clear operational plans and measurable objectives
  • Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance rhythms across the business
  • Improve accountability, communication, and execution across department heads
  • Ensure operational readiness for launches, project milestones, and key business activities
  • Drive system adoption and process improvement across platforms such as CRM, ERP, and project management tools
  • Support a seamless customer journey across sales, handover, and post-sales functions
  • Strengthen leadership capability and build a culture of ownership, speed, and delivery excellence
Requirements
  • Proven senior leadership experience in a real estate developer environment
  • Strong understanding of multiple departments across a property development business
  • Experience building operational control, structure, and cross-department integration
  • Ability to lead department heads and drive accountability across the organisation
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with operational discipline
  • Experience with performance reporting, process improvement, and business transformation
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and acting as a key driver of execution
  • Experience with digital systems, automation, and operational reporting tools is highly preferred
Preferred Background
  • Previously held titles such as COO, Director of Operations, Head of Operations, General Manager Operations, or similar
  • Experience within luxury or high-end residential real estate development is highly advantageous
  • European or Western background is preferred for this particular appointment
