- Accountable to carry out interface management activities of ADNOC Project as per setup Interface procedures and coordination with the existing ADNOC facilities, and Contractor/Vendor during all stages to ensure safe project execution and meeting defined project targets.
- Accountable to follow defined interface points during design phase and populate new operational interface for timely execution of the projects works. Maintain and update the interface register.
- Assist in providing the project with all information related to the interface agreement needed by the requesting parties.
- Control the process of interface identification and definition of technical and execution interfaces.
- Arrange alignment meeting with various interfacing parities including existing facilities, other ongoing project, and operational interfaces within battery limit.
- Plan the interface work based upon the interfaces already identified and assigned to support department objectives.
- Ensure that interfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen. Ensure that interfaces are executed and completed in accordance with project objectives
- Monitor, update and record revision and status of interfaces
- Actively participate in regular interface meetings.
- Deal with construction interface considerations and potential problems ensuring efficient operations.
- Support Lesson Learned and resolved issues between different projects/assets and coordinate reporting
- Review the engineering deliverables and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure adherence to interface agreements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports of the activities.
- Promote clear, accurate, timely, and consistent communication with internal organizations with respect to transferring interface information and documentation.
- Accountable that all formal handover documentation (Engineering & construction) in accordance with planned interface schedule.
- Provide technical input with the PMT during the EPC stage.
- Accountable for all technical Interfaces, ensure comprehensive, multi-functional review of all requests and meets ADNOC Project objectives, requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Oversee the Management of Contractor's interface team to ensure all inputs from other EPCs, engineering and construction teams to receive timely approvals of technical work packs.
- Timely Identify from reported area of concerns or unresolved interfaces issues to resolution
- Solid experience in construction interface management; ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction SIMOPS.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal and external parties for regulatory approvals.
- Previous experience in mega onshore projects within the oil & gas sector is essential.
- Oversee and input to monthly interface management reports
- A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering (i.e Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Computer, Software, Electronic, Marine, Ship Captain etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major(more than 1Billion US$) Oil&Gas or Petrochemical projects.
