The successful candidate will have mastered the culinary arts of Arabic cooking, delivering exceptional dining experiences for VVIP guests.QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS
  • 4-year culinary degree or equivalent formal culinary training - MANDATORY
  • Level 3 - Food Hygiene & Safety (Supervisors)
  • Level 2 - Allergy Awareness
  • Level 2 - HACCP
  • Safe Chemical Handling
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language an advantage
EXPERIENCE
  • Private chef experience in a VVIP household preferred
  • Experience in a 5* hotel, high-end restaurant, Michelin Star restaurant, or private residence - MANDATORY
  • International living and working experience - MANDATORY
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team of 6+ chefs
DUTIES
  • Expertise in a wide variety of Arabic cuisines, including Levantine, Gulf, and North African styles
  • Strong knowledge of cooking philosophies and principles specific to Arabic culinary traditions
  • Exceptional creativity, presentation skills, and respect for authentic flavours
  • Ensure the quality of raw and cooked food products meets the highest standards
  • Advanced HACCP certification and strict adherence to hygiene protocols
  • Introduce and present innovative Arabic dishes while maintaining authenticity
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for compliance with established standards
  • Design and present decorative food displays for events and functions
  • Maintain detailed recipe books, guest preferences, and operational records
  • Collaborate with other chefs on menu planning, factoring in seasonal produce and regional specialties
  • Explain dishes to F&B staff and train junior chefs in Arabic cooking techniques
  • Oversee equipment purchases or repairs
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills for menu and inventory management
