Join us.Job DescriptionAs part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in accordance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.This role is fully NAFIS eligible. AECOM manages all registrations and contributions to the GPSSA (General Pension and Social Security Authority).Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
  • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
  • Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
  • Identifies discrepancies in results.
  • Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Qualifications
  • UAE National with a valid Family Book, in line with AECOM's Emiratisation commitment and UAE Labour Law.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) from an accredited university.
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant engineering experience, internships, or academic project exposure.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, calculations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose approaches to new or routine challenges.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in data or results.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to work under moderate supervision while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or discipline-specific applications).
