
Business Development Manager - Azure Infrastructure

- Drive Azure channel acquisition and activation to service SMB customers at scale through partners
- Consult resellers on Designations; Lead blitz weeks/webinars for acquisition; Stimulate RFY activities with low performing resellers
- Ensure resellers are leveraging incentives and marketing $$ to drive customer acquisition
- Provides reseller assistance if needed in qualifying opportunity and customer wins
- Use Cloud Ascent data and drive GTM execution of the Cohorts “Migrate and Secure Windows SQL and Linux Estate”
- Mandatory attendance of Microsoft driven SureStep events like SureStep Summits and Bootcamps
- Represent Microsoft by earning the Pitch Perfect Badge for Azure
- If Aligned to specific DCO resellers – engage and enable those partners to target workloads for Azure migration.
- A +1 years of work experience in a sales/marketing role in the IT business
- Preferably experience working at a Partner/Hoster/Telco/Service Provider or competing technology vendor.
- A basic understanding of Azure and the Microsoft partner ecosystem
- Preferred advanced user of Office suite
- Preferred familiarity with Azure and/or Dynamics products and SKUs
- An Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) to be completed within 2 months of hire date. Further Azure certification recommended: see Azure training and certification guide https://aka.ms/AzureTrainCertDeck.
- A Minimum 2 years working in IT sales, marketing or business development.
