The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryAl Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician - Heavy Machinery to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment across various project sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems in construction machinery, hands-on experience, and the flexibility to work across different locations as required.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the Electrician - Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucksDiagnose faults in electrical systems including wiring, control panels, sensors, alternators, and startersRepair or replace defective electrical components and ensure proper functioning of equipmentConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systemsRead and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manualsEnsure proper installation and connection of electrical components in machineryMaintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and job reportsFollow safety standards and procedures while handling electrical equipment and toolsCoordinate with mechanical technicians and site teams for efficient maintenance operationsAttend on-site breakdowns and provide quick and effective solutionsMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionPerform ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth operationsRequired Skills & QualificationsDiploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components in heavy equipmentAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficientlyFamiliarity with electrical tools, testing devices, and repair techniquesAbility to read and understand electrical schematics and diagramsBasic understanding of safety standards and electrical practicesGood communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditionsFlexible, proactive, and able to work independentlyUAE driving license is an advantageDepartment Workshop - Heavy Machinery Locations SharjahContact Talent Acquisition Officer - Recruitment DepartmentColleaguesAbout Al Marwan GroupFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.Founded in 1978 careersite--jobs--form-overlay#showFormOverlay">Apply for this job jobs--overlay#unobserveClickOutside common--modal:closed-
