- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment for passengers.
- Provide information to passengers regarding routes, schedules, and fares.
- Handle cash and electronic fare systems accurately.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its routes.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing.
