This role is responsible for inspecting and monitoring landscape construction activities to ensure that all works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory standards. The Landscape Inspector supports project delivery by maintaining quality, documenting site progress, and ensuring contractor compliance.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect daily site activities to ensure work is executed according to approved plans and specifications
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, including labor, equipment usage, and work progress
- Coordinate with contractor teams to ensure proper execution of landscape and irrigation works
- Arrange material sampling and testing in coordination with quality and materials teams
- Verify alignment, levels, and grading through coordination with survey teams
- Report non-compliance issues and questionable construction methods to the Resident Engineer
- Maintain records of completed works for payments, as-built documentation, and claims support
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety plans and procedures
- Check traffic control setups, site safety measures, and environmental compliance
- Document incidents and report any accidents or risks immediately
- Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Landscape, Irrigation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape and irrigation construction supervision
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards and inspection procedures
- Good communication skills for coordination with contractors and stakeholders
- Currently based in the UAE
