  • Diagnose and treat pediatric eye conditions including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, and retinopathy of prematurity
  • Perform pediatric ophthalmic surgeries and advanced diagnostic procedures
  • Conduct detailed eye examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, neurologists, and other specialists for complex case management
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in research, clinical audits, and academic activities
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and clinical standards
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree with completed residency in Ophthalmology
  • Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Pediatric Ophthalmology
  • Board-certified from a recognized authority
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric ophthalmology
  • Eligibility for consultant-level licensing in Dubai
  • Strong clinical and surgical expertise in pediatric eye care
  • Excellent communication skills with children and families
  • Experience in teaching, research, or clinical development initiatives
