The Lead Concept Architect Landscape will lead the creation of visionary, sustainable, and user-centric landscape concepts that shape Azizi Developments' evolving design language. This role requires strong conceptual thinking, design storytelling, and leadership to influence projects from the earliest stages through integrated collaboration with architecture, engineering, BIM, and supervision teams.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of landscape concepts for masterplans, mixed-use, hospitality, residential, and public realm projects
- Create visionary, sustainable, and user-centric landscape concepts aligned with project vision and brand identity
- Establish clear design narratives, themes, and spatial strategies at concept stage
- Produce high-quality concept layouts, sketches, diagrams, mood boards, and illustrative plans
- Ensure concepts respond to site context, climate, culture, sustainability goals, and user experience
- Coordinate with urban design, architecture, engineering, and BIM teams to deliver integrated design solutions
- Translate conceptual ideas into clear and buildable design intent for progression to preliminary and detailed design stages
- Ensure early-stage compliance with local authority guidelines, environmental standards, and client requirements
- Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and contractors to support seamless design execution
- Monitor industry trends and integrate emerging technologies, materials, and tools into concept development
- Contribute to studio design standards, best practices, and concept design workflows
- Lead concept modelling and visualization efforts using industry-standard tools
- Deliver strong presentations with high attention to design quality, detail, and visual communication
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and concept design leadership
- Exceptional conceptual thinking and design storytelling ability
- Strong hand sketching, diagramming, and visual communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, D5, Enscape, or equivalent visualization tools
- Solid understanding of landscape materials, planting principles, and constructability at concept level
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
