The Assistant Vice President - Corporate Coverage will support senior bankers across relationship management, origination, and execution activities. The role is highly analytical, client-facing, and central to the delivery of new business opportunities.
  • Support the coverage of key corporate clients across the GCC - including Abu Dhabi sovereign-linked entities (e.g., energy, industrials), Saudi corporates, Qatar and Kuwait groups.
  • Assist senior bankers with relationship building, client meeting preparation, information gathering (KYC, DD), and follow-up actions.
  • Take responsibility for selected client accounts as you grow into the role.
  • Contribute to identifying cross-sell opportunities across corporate finance products.
  • Prepare pitchbooks, financial analysis, termsheets, information memoranda, and client briefing packs.
  • Conduct financial statement analysis and run profitability scenarios and credit models.
  • Support the credit approval process by assembling internal documentation and liaising with relevant departments.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of key sectors including oil & gas, energy, telecoms, and real estate.
  • Support execution teams with transaction processes from initial structuring through to completion.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders such as credit, legal, compliance, operations and regional colleagues.
  • Review transaction documentation and coordinate internal workflows and information flows.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in corporate coverage, corporate banking, credit, investment banking, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of GCC corporate landscape - ideally Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
  • Experience preparing pitchbooks, termsheets, financial analysis, and credit materials.
  • Ability to interpret financial models (FM not essential but desirable).
  • Exposure to GCC sectors such as energy/O&G, telecoms, real estate, and industrials.
  • Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to support client meetings and build relationships.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple regions.
