The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closing, VAT and corporate tax compliance, financial analysis, audit support, and strong internal controls. The role also focuses on process improvements and supporting the finance team in achieving timely and accurate reporting.Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and post financial entries in ERP systems (SAGE, MS Dynamics, Microsys)
- Ensure correct allocation of revenue and expenses to GL accounts
- Manage month-end closing and submit financial reports by the 12th of each month
- Close sales and cost of sales within deadlines to report gross profit
- Review and reconcile general ledger and prepare supporting schedules
- Lead and support the finance team to ensure timely book closure
- Handle VAT recording and ensure timely VAT return filing
- Manage corporate tax computations and filings
- Assist in financial reporting, analysis, and audit requirements
- Prepare cash flow statements in coordination with AR/AP teams
- Review payment vouchers and process customer refunds
- Drive process improvements and support internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CA / ACCA or equivalent qualification
- 2 4 years of supervisory experience in the GCC
- Experience in financial consolidation and intercompany reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate tax in the UAE
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
- Good communication skills (English required; Urdu/Hindi/Malayalam preferred)
