- Lead detailed review, negotiation, qualification, and finalization of upstream contract terms and conditions.
- Prepare structured contract risk assessments with mitigation strategies and executive recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial and legal provisions including payment terms, warranties, indemnities, liabilities, insurance clauses, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Coordinate with Group Legal to draft amendments, resolve qualifications, and ensure accurate incorporation into final executed documents.
- Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements workflow and documentation governance.
- Oversee issuance, renewal, and closure of performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, and project securities.
- Liaise with Group Insurance to ensure compliance with contractual insurance obligations.
- Provide project lifecycle support, briefing teams on contractual obligations, notice requirements, governance, and risk exposures.
- Support claims development by assessing entitlement, drafting notices, and ensuring compliance with contract conditions.
- Ensure effective flowdown of upstream obligations into subcontract agreements.
- Maintain structured contract records and support continuous improvement in governance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Business Administration.
- Extensive experience in contract management within large corporate or project-based environments.
- Strong expertise in commercial risk assessment and contract negotiation.
- Experience coordinating with legal, finance, bid, and project delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and delegation of authority structures.
- Proven ability to manage high-value contracts across multi-sector operations.
