Safety Officer - Emirates Logistics - Dubai, UAE

• Supervise and coordinate all health and safety related matters within the facility
• Prepare, maintain, and update health and safety checklists
• Ensure all workers use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Monitor discipline and punctuality during working hours and break times
• Conduct daily facility rounds to identify hazards inside and outside the perimeter
• Coordinate corrective actions with supervisors and managers
• Report indiscipline, unsafe behavior, or misconduct to management
• Support periodic health and safety training and conduct safety induction sessions
• Assist in recording and maintaining incident and accident reports
• Inspect, maintain, and document safety equipment and tools
• Manage first aid kits, maintain stock records, and provide first aid when required
• Participate in evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuation activities
• Ensure emergency exits are accessible and properly maintained
• Monitor high-risk activities and enforce safety controls
• Implement waste management, housekeeping, and workplace hygiene systems
• Perform additional duties assigned by the department head

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification
• Mid-level experience in health and safety within logistics, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Energetic and physically capable of active site supervision
• Strong attention to detail with near-miss risk identification skills
• Excellent people management and discipline handling abilities
• Self-disciplined with commitment to safety culture
• Proactive team player with a focus on continuous improvement
• Good communication, presentation, and MS Office skills
