The Landscape Inspector supports operation and maintenance activities by monitoring site conditions, verifying workmanship, and ensuring compliance with approved landscaping plans. The role plays a key part in maintaining sustainable and high-quality public realm environments.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect softscape and hardscape works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Maintain daily site records including activities, workforce, equipment, and approvals
- Coordinate with contractor teams to ensure proper execution of landscaping works
- Interface with residents and stakeholders to minimize disruption during operations
- Arrange testing and quality checks for materials and completed works
- Report non-compliance, poor workmanship, or unsafe practices to the Resident Engineer
- Maintain records for measurements, completed works, and as-built documentation
- Monitor contractor activities and document potential claims or variations
- Enforce safety requirements in line with approved project safety plans
- Report incidents, delays, or operational issues promptly
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape, Agriculture Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in landscaping or irrigation within O and M projects
- Strong ability to read drawings and enforce technical specifications
- Experience working on Abu Dhabi Municipality projects preferred
- Good communication and coordination skills with site teams and stakeholders
- Ability to handle site inspections independently
