Job DescriptionThe Research Assistant (RA) will support the research and innovation activities of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation (AIDI) by contributing to the development, implementation, and deployment of advanced AI solutions. The RA will work closely with AI experts and interdisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge technologies that address real-world challenges and support the UAE’s digital transformation agenda. The position focuses on hands-on technical development and experimentation with modern AI technologies. The RA will contribute to research projects that translate advanced AI methodologies into practical applications supporting government modernization, smart services, and industry innovation. The successful candidate will participate in the development of AI-driven solutions across priority sectors such as healthcare, education, and government services, while supporting collaboration between academia, government entities, and industry partners.Minimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar). Experience working with data analysis, model training, and evaluation. Good understanding of AI fundamentals including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualification
