This role is critical in managing high-risk ENT trauma and surgical cases, ensuring rapid intervention and optimal patient outcomes. The Consultant will work closely with trauma and critical care teams, playing a key role in emergency response and complex surgical care delivery.Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage ENT conditions with a focus on trauma and head and neck surgery
  • Perform emergency and elective procedures including tracheostomies and trauma-related surgeries
  • Manage penetrating neck injuries and complex facial trauma cases
  • Provide full perioperative care ensuring patient safety and recovery
  • Collaborate with trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and ICU teams
  • Lead emergency response for ENT-related trauma cases
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
  • Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor junior doctors and contribute to teaching and research activities
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree with specialization in ENT or Otolaryngology
  • Fellowship or subspecialty training in head and neck surgery or trauma
  • Board-certified in ENT Surgery or equivalent
  • Strong experience in trauma, tracheostomies, and facial injury management
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills in emergency settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
