We are assisting one of our clients, a fast growing Corporate Services Provider with offices in Cyprus and Dubai (JLT Area) which is hiring an experienced Accountant for their Dubai office.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPost and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedPlanning, execution and successful completion of accounting work in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Recording of invoices, receipts, payments and preparing monthly bank reconciliationsPreparation of Debtors/Creditors reconciliationExcellent understanding of financial assets and relevant postings in the accounts, including recognition of fair value.Ensure relevant provisions were recognized through the yearPreparing monthly management accounts and cash flow statements for clientsPreparing quarterly VAT reconciliationApply critical thinking and professional judgement identifies and raises issues at the appropriate levelBuild and maintain effective working relationships with the team and client personnel and meet client and firm deadlinesRegular reporting to the Manager about status, progress and completion of accounting workCollecting, preparing and sending information to the AuditorsCollaborating with other departmentsRequired Skills & ExperienceACCA certification will be considered an advantageBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or other related fieldsAt least 2 years of experience in a similar roleOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsResponsible and professional with respect to appearance and behaviorOrganized methodological with high attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality in all situationsFluent in EnglishRussian language would be considered an advantageAbility to work in a teamAbility to work under strict reporting deadlines when necessaryExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office ExcelBasic understanding of database logic (keys, relationships, queries)Preparing all outgoing correspondence in a professional format.Remuneration & BenefitsCompetitive remuneration package and performance bonusCareer development opportunitiesWork in a young and dynamic international environmentWe act as a true HR Business Partner - providing tailored HR advisory while connecting the right talent with the right opportunities.
