The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems in construction machinery, the ability to diagnose faults, and ensure optimal performance of cooling systems across various project sites.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the AC Technician – Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:Install, inspect, maintain, and repair AC systems in heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucksDiagnose faults and perform troubleshooting of HVAC systems in heavy equipmentRepair or replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical partsConduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient performance of AC systemsCheck refrigerant levels, pressure systems, and ensure proper cooling performanceMaintain service records, job reports, and maintenance logs accuratelyEnsure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of tools and refrigerantsCoordinate with workshop and site teams for maintenance schedules and urgent repairsAttend breakdowns on-site and provide quick and effective solutionsMaintain cleanliness of work area and proper handling of equipment and toolsPerform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operationsRequired Skills & QualificationsDiploma or certification in HVAC or related technical field3–5 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipmentStrong knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy equipmentAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical AC issuesFamiliarity with refrigerants, AC tools, and servicing techniquesBasic understanding of safety standards and proceduresAbility to read technical manuals and schematicsGood communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditionsFlexible and willing to work across different locations as requiredFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.
