Responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of gas distribution systems within residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Design internal gas distribution systems including piping, risers, and manifolds.
- Select and size gas pipes, regulators, meters, and safety devices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of gas systems.
- Perform inspection and troubleshooting of existing gas networks.
- Lead retrofit and rehabilitation projects for old buildings.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of low- and medium-pressure gas systems.
- Experience in retrofit and rehabilitation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering.
