A boutique law firm is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager with a legal secretary background to support the operational and administrative functions of the practice. This role is central to ensuring the firm's internal processes run smoothly, with a strong focus on legal administration, billing, compliance, and day-to-day operations.The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple workstreams, and supporting fee-earners in a lean boutique environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Operations SupportManage internal day-to-day administrative and operational tasksMaintain internal systems, records, and proceduresSupport partners and fee-earners with administrative and operational needsLegal AdministrationHandle client opening and matter opening processesCapture, maintain, and update accurate client and matter dataPrepare, format, and manage legal documents and correspondenceMaintain organised electronic filing and document management systemsAssist with time capture, billing, and invoicingCompliance & KYCConduct KYC / AML checks in line with regulatory requirementsEnsure all onboarding documentation is complete and compliantMaintain compliance logs, records, and internal checklistsGeneral Administrative SupportManage diaries, scheduling, and deadlines for fee-earnersAssist with ad-hoc operational and administrative tasksSupport internal process improvements and efficiency initiativesRequirementsProven experience as a Legal Secretary, Office Manager, or similar role within a law firmSolid understanding of law firm operations, billing, and complianceHands-on experience with client and matter opening, KYC, and data captureStrong organisational skills with high attention to detailProficient in MS Office and legal practice management systemsFOR MORE INFORMATIONCONTACT Lucy Vincent
