We are seeking an experienced UAE National Lawyer to join a reputable organisation within the UAE. This role requires a professional with a strong legal background to provide expert guidance and manage legal matters effectively.Key responsibilities include:
  • Review and draft contracts and legal documents across the portfolio.
  • Provide advice on interpretation of contractual and statutory provisions.
  • Support on disputes, arbitrations, breach and termination processes with internal and external counsel.
  • Coordinate with procurement, commercial, finance and other business units on project‑related matters.
  • Manage external counsel relationships and oversee delivery of legal services.
  • Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies across contracts and procurement.
  • Develop, review, and maintain template agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to internal governance documentation (e.g., data protection, AML, KYC).
  • Act as legal counsel on project transactions and maintain close coordination with business units.
Are you a UAE National lawyer?Do you have Oil & Gas or Construction industry experience?The successful candidate will have the following:
  • UAE National
  • A degree in Law or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Proven expertise in the oil and gas or infrastructure utilities or construction industry.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience, ideally 8+ years experience
  • Strong knowledge of local and international legal regulations.
  • Exceptional skills in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters and provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work effectively within a large organisation.
