Job descriptionJob Role: Account DirectorJob Location: Dubai, UAEJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and visionary Account Director to champion a prestigious global automotive brand. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in orchestrating the brand's presence across the market. You will be the central point of command, leading the integrated efforts of our Brand & Product Campaigns, Experiential Marketing (BTL), and Digital/Social function. Your mission is to forge powerful, cohesive brand narratives and deliver exceptional customer experiences by collaborating seamlessly with our Creative, Strategy, and Media Hubs. This is an opportunity to not just manage accounts, but to shape brand legacy and drive measurable business success for both our client and our company.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Brand & Campaign Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, 360-degree marketing campaigns, ensuring full integration of Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and digital strategies to meet brand objectives.
  • Serve as the primary strategic counsel for the client, translating their business goals into actionable, innovative marketing plans that resonate with the target audience.
  • Oversee the entire campaign lifecycle from strategic planning and creative briefing to execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
2. Experiential & Activation Excellence:
  • Lead the conceptualization and flawless execution of high-impact experiential marketing initiatives, including flagship launch events, exclusive customer conferences, luxury hospitality programs, and dynamic on-ground activations.
  • Champion innovation in customer engagement, identifying new technologies and platforms to create immersive and memorable brand interactions.
  • Manage all aspects of event production, including vendor negotiation, logistics, and on-site management, to guarantee a premium experience in line with brand standards.
3. Integrated Team & Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the key relationship owner for the client, fostering a collaborative and trusted partnership through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team across campaigns, CX, and digital, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams (Creative, Strategy, Media, PR) to ensure a unified and powerful go-to-market approach for all initiatives.
4. Financial, Performance & Business Plan Management:
  • Develop and take full ownership of the annual business plan for the account, defining clear revenue, growth, and profitability targets that directly align with and contribute to the company's overall strategic objectives.
  • Meticulously manage the account's P&L, including budget forecasting, resource allocation, and margin control. Continuously track financial progress against the business plan and provide accurate forecasting to senior management.
  • Establish key performance indicators for all marketing activities. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaign strategies, demonstrate value, and maximize return on investment.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide regular, insightful reports on both financial health and campaign performance to senior leadership and the client, clearly communicating progress against the annual business plan.
5. Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification:
  • Conduct continuous analysis of the competitive landscape, automotive industry trends, and consumer behavior to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
  • Act as a thought leader, bringing fresh, proactive ideas to the client that push creative boundaries and solidify the brand's position as an industry leader.
6. Agency Growth & New Business Development:
  • Proactively identify and cultivate organic growth opportunities within the assigned account, proposing new initiatives and services to expand the partnership and increase revenue.
  • Actively participate in the company's broader new business acquisition efforts, contributing strategic insights, supporting pitch development, and representing the agency in presentations to prospective clients.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in account management, brand marketing, or a related role within an advertising agency or a client-side marketing team.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team.
  • A proven track record within the automotive sector is strongly preferred. Experience with luxury, lifestyle, or other premium brands is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • A strategic and creative thinker with proven P&L management skills and a results-oriented mindset. Must be able to see the big picture while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the polish and confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management software, and familiarity with CRM and analytics platforms.
