  • Act as oil spill response subject matter expert across planning, preparedness, and operational response activities
  • Lead research, collation, and benchmarking of international oil spill response regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive OSR knowledge repository to support strategy and senior management decision-making
  • Advise on implementation of policies, systems, processes, and controls covering all OSR functions
  • Develop, obtain approval for, and implement standard operating procedures for oil spill equipment and operations across ADNOC
  • Provide technical expertise on selection of oil spill response equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Support development and delivery of oil spill response training plans aligned with global emergency response standards
  • Represent ADNOC at crisis management forums, emergency response exhibitions, and technical conferences
  • Review Tier 1 Emergency Response Plans for group assets and recommend improvements to enhance preparedness
  • Support OSR teams during emergency notifications to ensure effective risk assessment and response for Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents
  • Participate in on-call duty roster to respond to major oil spill and emergency events
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Management, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in crisis management or emergency response, preferably within the oil and gas sector
  • Strong knowledge of oil spill response regulations, equipment, and international best practices
  • Experience in emergency planning, SOP development, and operational readiness
  • Ability to advise senior management and support multi-disciplinary response teams
  • Strong communication, coordination, and technical advisory skills
