Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Lead to drive the design, delivery, and engineering excellence of their next-generation technology platforms.This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering leadership, and execution, requiring a hands-on leader who can define technical direction, guide teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will work closely with Product, AI/ML, and senior stakeholders to bring complex solutions to life.Key Responsibilities:· Technical Strategy & ArchitectureØ Define and own the end-to-end system architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performance platformsØ Lead technical design reviews and align teams with long-term engineering visionØ Establish and enforce best practices in software design, coding standards, and system reliabilityØ Evaluate emerging technologies and make build vs. buy decisionsØ Identify opportunities to leverage modern tools and automation within the development lifecycle· Engineering LeadershipØ Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams across multiple levelsØ Provide technical direction across multiple squads or product teamsØ Establish strong engineering practices including code reviews, quality benchmarks, and standardsØ Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of engineering talent.· Delivery & ExecutionØ Translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plansØ Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within defined scopeØ Partner with Product teams on roadmap planning and technical feasibility assessmentsØ Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and constraints.· Operational ExcellenceØ Oversee system performance, monitoring, logging, and reliabilityØ Collaborate with DevOps/DevSecOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security best practicesØ Optimize engineering productivity through tools, frameworks, and process improvementsØ Drive efficient and outcome-focused release management practices· Cross-Functional CollaborationØ Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate advanced features into productsØ Align architectural layers across frontend, backend, and data systemsØ Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and solutions clearly to stakeholdersRequirements · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering
· 3–5+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role
· Strong experience building scalable backend systems (e.g., Python or similar technologies)
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
· Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and databases (SQL & NoSQL)
· Proven ability to lead code quality, design reviews, and engineering best practices
· Experience working on AI/ML-powered applications or data-driven systems
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications· Experience working on enterprise-scale or government-grade systems
· Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy frameworks
