Job DescriptionTo provide technical support to the users of business applications and to ensure that the business benefits of applications continue to be achieved throughout the application service lifetime.To provide ongoing technical maintenance and usage support of business applications in order to maintain their reliability and business benefits.To support the line manager in team related activities and management reportingEnsure business application services are maintained as per agreed availability and capacity.To update the superiors as per the reporting structure on the status of the overall issues and resolutionsTo coordinate and provide on-call support assignment and problem resolution for applications maintained by Application Service Operations Team.To maintain updated knowledge with respect to relevant technology, equipment and/or systems.To track all pending issues and ensure the resolution of the same as per the agreed priority and timelines.To perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.To provide on-call support and problem resolution for computer applications, including post office hours and holidays.To provide timely resolution for incidents reported and response to business users within SLA.Deploy fixes & patches provided by vendor in UAT environments and coordinate with different delivery teams in IT for completion of testing. Verifying program units for dependencies and advice vendor for retro fits as necessary.Validate changes / Request for Change (RFC) provided by business units for support based delivery or else guide the users accordingly.Responsible & accountable to follow Technology, information Security, HR, Compliance and other Organizational processes while performing duties, as per roles & responsibilities.Responsible & accountable provide timely response (correct & complete) to Line managers and other stakeholders like Business, Audit, Information security etc.Responsible for ensuring Disaster Recovery plans & procedure are maintained for related services.Responsible & accountable to provide assistance to IT-Quality assurance in continual improvement of Quality management system.Maintain SOPs and documentations related to the Application Service Operation teams functions and activities.All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line ManagerCompetencies/SkillsEducationBachelor in Computer Science / EngineeringWork ExperienceMinimum 4-6 Years of IT experience in similar domain
