Headquartered in Singapore, SJ is a diverse collective of experts delivering sustainable and high-impact solutions across the built environment.Role OverviewThe Tunnel Engineer will contribute to the design and delivery of tunnelling and underground infrastructure projects, focusing on structural support systems and permanent lining design.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tunnel and underground structure designs.
  • Design structural support systems and permanent lining solutions.
  • Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 6–10 years of experience in tunnel engineering and underground structures.
  • Proven experience in tunnel design and underground infrastructure projects.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of tunnel design methodologies and standards.
  • Experience with structural analysis and engineering design tools.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
