Headquartered in Singapore, SJ is a diverse collective of experts delivering sustainable and high-impact solutions across the built environment.Role OverviewThe Senior Tunnel Engineer will lead tunnel design activities and provide technical oversight for underground infrastructure projects, including structural support systems and permanent lining design.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tunnel and underground structure design activities.
  • Deliver structural support systems and permanent lining designs.
  • Review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 10–14 years of experience in tunnel and underground structure design.
  • Proven experience delivering complex tunnel and underground infrastructure projects.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of tunnel engineering design methodologies.
  • Strong experience with structural analysis and engineering design software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage technical deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
