Job Description:To manage end‑to‑end reinsurance (R/I) accounting operations, including payments, bank transfers, receipting, matching, and reconciliations, while providing operational support to R/I Accountants and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with insurance accounting standards.What you will doReinsurance & Financial Accounting
  • Handle all payments, bank transfers, matching, receipting, and reconciliations related to Reinsurance (R/I) accounts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for reinsurance premiums, recoveries, commissions, and balances.
  • Perform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances promptly.
  • Support R/I Accountants in treaty and facultative accounting activities, as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries in accordance with insurance accounting practices.
Operational Support & Controls
  • Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to reinsurance accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines applicable to insurance companies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (banks, reinsurers, brokers) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Carry out any other finance or accounting tasks assigned from time to time.
