HSSE Manager

• Establish, monitor, and analyse HSSE KPIs, trends, audits, and assurance programs, providing insights to leadership to support proactive decision-making and continuous improvement. Develop, review, communicate, and implement HSSE policies, standards, and procedures in line with corporate guidelines and international best practices.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, and external stakeholders to secure operational licenses, permits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the HSSE team, fostering capability building, succession planning, and effective communication.
• Drive HSSE culture across the organisation by influencing line leaders, promoting accountability, and engaging the workforce through committees, meetings, and awareness initiatives.
• Implement and oversee risk management frameworks (HIRA, PTW, and other structured safety systems), ensuring operational and maintenance activities are assessed, controlled, and compliant.
• Lead process safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA), incident investigations, and root cause analyses, ensuring lessons learned are embedded and corrective actions are effective.
• Ensure integrity, readiness, and effectiveness of critical safety and emergency response systems, including structured drills and acting as Incident Commander during major emergencies.
• Oversee contractor HSSE management, including prequalification, performance monitoring, and participation in Contractor Performance Review meetings; support procurement in contractor and supplier management.
• Coordinate with Technical, Operations, and HR teams to ensure safe project execution, occupational health programs, medical surveillance, and exposure monitoring.
• Participate in global HSSE forums, sharing best practices, managing HSSE budgets, and exercising stop-work authority when necessary to uphold safety standards.
